The fact of the matter is that there is a lot of ignorance that is a result of fear from Israel's security status or whether it is safe to visit. The truth is Israel is one of the safest places in the world.

There a lot of very popular countries that people visit, and don't have the slightest idea that the probability of getting robbed on the street in broad daylight is very likely. In Israel a woman can walk alone at night without any fear, how many countries can say the same? Now of course there are less hospitable areas and neighborhoods, like anywhere else, but in 99% of Israel you'll be completely safe.
